The Stars Award 2010 nominees had been revealed and i'm extremely not sastified with the results - seriously. Some nominees should not be in the list at all, total disappointment...
Best Actor

Should Brandon be in the list? I dont tink so, his acting in Housewive' Holiday was totally fairly good. Isnt it weird when he actually can be nominated in the Best Actor category when he was not even nominated in any category before? I dont think so. Some other good actor that failed to be in the list is Christopher Lee in My Buddy. Chris acted the honest uncle very well.
I think Elvin's performance was better than Dai YangTian in Together but Tay Ping Hui was also good in The Ultimatum. So i hope either Elvin or Ping Hui can get this award. Not HanWei again please!

Why is Chen LiPing nominated in such an old drama Reunion Dinner?? I dont understand why, why did not the judges place her in last year's Stars Awards? Fann acted well in The Ultimatum, Felicia acted very well in Baby Bonus and lastly Rui En in Happy Family. How come none of them is nominated? Jeanette is nominated in the Best Actress category again after losing to Joanne last year. I think Jeanette's role in Together wasnt a role that can show her acting talent, her role was rather plain and simple i thought. Congrats to Eelyn for being nominated in this category for Together but i really hope that she will get this award. :)

If they can place Zhu Hou Ren in this category for such an old drama Reunion Dinner, why can they place Nat in? For The Dream Catchers. Nat performance in that drama was rather commendable as his Mandarin has improved alot and his chemistry with Dawn was just great. Why cant u let Nat be in this category. Why??
Jerry acted the evil Rende very well in The Ultimatum and ZhenHuan acted quite well in Together too. I guess one of them may win.

I guess these 5 actresses have what it takes to be nominated in this category but what happened to Kola Zhou Ying? Have they forgotten her performance in Together? She played the sickly lawyer HuiMin very well. How come the judges have forgotten her? I feel rather bad for her, i can see she worked very hard to improve her English for that show, but she's not nominated at last. Since HuiFang has already been nominated in The Best Actress Award, why dont thay give Kola a chance?? Well, Constance acted very well in The Ultimatum and i think her chance of getting this award is quite high.

3rd abt e BSActor! again..e Reunion Dinner show cast is in..okae..i agreed tt Houren had acted well as a alzheimer (chidai)..but still tis show is such an old drama already..y is he in..hmmm..others were still okae la..esp geping n zhenhuan..cuz 1 acted ahgua..another acted fengliu man..some how..YES..nat acted well in tis show..n indeed his mandarin had improved..but den hor..he is a Ch5 actor le..cn b nominate meh..??

Ya, i totally agreed! Brandon should not be in the Best Actor at all, i think this arrangement is too hasty! Chris shld be in! In my buddy, he acted that ordinary yet honest uncle "Youquan" very well! Totally different from the flirty role in "Beach.Ball.Babes"! So i thought that mediacorp shld give him a chance. Btw, i oso thought that Tay Ping Hui should get the Best Actor award this year as he is a very professional actor who can act both good and evil roles. Elvin and DYT are still young like u said, their road is still long.
For the Best Actress Award, i think that they shld not nominated Chen Li Ping for The Reunion Dinner, dont u tink its such a old drama le? Its simply a joke. Btw, i think Jeanette shld be in this year too cos personally for me, i think she acted "Jianhong" pretty well, its just that her role was just rather plain and cant expose her acting skills much. Besides togther is the only drama Jeanette filmed this year, so although her chance of getting the award is slim this year, she should still be nominated in. For Eelyn, Eelyn performed well in together and i can see that she's rapidly improving. From last year Best Supporting Actress for The Little Nyonya to this year Best Actress for together, her improvement is obviously shown. So i think her chance of getting the award may be high.
I dun think they shld nominate Hong Hui Fang in as she performed better in together, so its the only right that she's being nominated in The Best Supporting Actress this year. But since she's nominated in Best Supporting Actress, they should leave her out for the Best Actress Award. The chance should be given to either Fann or Felicia. Felicia performed well in Baby Bonus and i thought that the chance should be given to her. Sad. :(
Next, for the Best Supporting Actor. Again Zhu HouRen for Reunion Dinner. Indeed he acted well, but i think its too old show for me. I dun accept.
Ya i agree, Geping and Zhenhuan both have what i takes to be nominated in this Award as both performed very well.
Nat should be and he can be nominated in as he's a both chan.8 and chan.5 actor. Just like Gurmit Singh, he's oso in the top20 list ma. And Adrain Pang, he was oso nominated in the Best Actor Award in year 2008, for Nanny Daddy. So Nat definitely can be nominated. I hope he can get top10 this year. :)
Lastly, for the Best Supporting Actress. Zhou Ying definitely should be in, for sure. I can see that she's a good actress from together. I really hope that she can be in more dramas in the future. But for the nominees, all five nominated actresses are performed very well, esp Constance in The Ultimatum and Aileen in together. I'm quite sastified in the nominees for this category.
